Maegan + Stephen Speights
Ice, Ice, Baby - we are excited to kick off 2018 looking back at one of our coldest weddings of the year and help celebrate Maegan and Stephen's first anniversary!
This sweet couple chose to have a 11 am ceremony, which we loved! Maegan was up early getting her hair and make up done by Mollie Atwood. She wore a beautiful lace dress with cap sleeves and a beaded belt. Her dress was paired with a simple veil trimmed in lace. Maegan carried a bouquet of white, filled with roses, ranunculus, hypericum berries, and calla lilies. Her bridesmaids wore navy dresses and carried a bouquet similar to the brides. The groom wore a dark suit, while his groomsmen wore a lighter grey. Don't let us forget about the superhero socks - how fun!
The couple exchanged vows at First Baptist Brandon. The altar hosted beautiful white arches, large white flower arrangements, candelabras, and a hanging arrangement by Fresh Cut Floral. The doors to the church had white floral wreaths adorned with a navy ribbon with a "S" monogrammed on them. Stella and Company Events created their invitations and programs, and carried their monogram over to custom napkins for the reception.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and guests made their way to the Railroad District for the reception. Upon entering, they were greeted with winter white linens, white floral arrangements, soft lighting and candles, done by Fresh Cut Catering. Charlie Murphy played while guests ate and danced. The bride's cake was a gorgeous four-tier, white cake, created by That Special Touch, that had pearl-like details and finished with white roses and winter florals. The grooms cake was a two-tier Ole Miss cake accented by chocolate covered strawberries. Guests enjoyed caricature drawings and showered the couple with "snow" as they left the reception.
We loved sharing this special day with Maegan and Stephen and wish them another year of happiness (and warmth!) - check out these gorgeous recap photos from Katelyn Anne Photography!
